Bright Rich Cream is a clinically-proven brightening moisturizer born from Japanese skincare innovation. Combining the power of science and nature, it not only gives your skin an instant radiant glow but also targets the root causes of future dark spots and dullness.
The star ingredient in this new range of Lekarka core products is Route W, a unique blend of plant extracts: Bletilla Striata Root Extract (antioxidant, anti-inflammatory) + Gentiana Lutea Root Extract (moisturizing)
When combined with other active ingredients such as Tranexamic Acid, Root W® has been shown to enhance their efficacy. This means that Tranexamic Acid’s brightening and anti-inflammatory effects are significantly amplified thanks to the synergistic power of Root W®. (Without Root W®, Tranexamic Acid reduces melanin synthesis stimulation by about 55%, whereas in combination with Root W®, this reduction increases to approximately 80%)
Route W® and a selection of powerful actives, inhibit melanin formation pathways triggered by inflammation at every stage:
- UV rays and environmental stressors can trigger inflammation in the skin. When this occurs, epidermal (surface) cells send out signals that stimulate melanin production. Tranexamic Acid and Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate help reduce inflammation at the source, inhibiting these melanin-stimulating signals and helping prevent dark spots from forming to begin with.
- Even if melanin synthesis signals are sent, Gentiana Lutea Root Extract helps inhibit their effects. However, it’s impossible to block all signals completely, and when they do pass through, the enzyme tyrosinase produces melanin.
- This is where Bletilla Striata Root Extract, Day Lily Flower Ferment Filtrate, and Niacinamide come in, helping inhibit tyrosinase activity and preventing hyperpigmentation.
- Additionally, Hydrolyzed Extract of Codonopsis Pilsula (Dangshen plant in Chinese medicine) works to inhibit tyrosinase (enzyme) production itself, providing another layer of protection against dark spots.

How to Use

As the last step of your skincare routine (after cleansing and applying toner and/or serum), apply a pearl-sized amount all over your face to seal in all the benefits.
I recommend placing the cream on 5 points of your face: forehead, both cheeks, chin, and nose. Gently spread it over your entire face.
